Stanley Selected for UNC Student Project

The Town of Stanley visited the UNC School of Government last week to hear a presentation from students in Professor Mulligan’s ‘Community Revitalization Applied’ course. The students selected a submission from the Town for their project this semester and did a complete analysis on the Town’s property located at 222 S Main Street. The analysis provided recommendations to make the property more attractive to developers, as well as information on the best use of the space in our current market. The Town is grateful for their effort to help us revitalize our downtown and will utilize information from their project in our continued recruitment efforts. A special thank you to these three students, Professor Mulligan, the DFI team and the UNC School of Government for providing us with this opportunity.
