SABA awards East Gaston High School student with $500 Scholarship

SABA awarded an East Gaston High School student with a $500 Scholarship!

The Stanley Area Business Association (SABA) had 3 students apply for the scholarship and several ladies that made up the scholarship committee to select the recipient.

The qualifications were for the EGHS student that graduates this Saturday to plan to attend Gaston College, we were trying to keep the money local! They also had to live in Stanley!

SABA collected school supplies for the local school children.
