NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
STANLEY PLANNING BOARD AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Town of Stanley Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom Webinar – Livestream on Facebook. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following request for:
- a) Subdivision of a parcel 167690 at 508 Mauney Road into two parcels for use by the church (Community Pentecostal Center) and the charter school (Community Public Charter School).
The Town of Stanley Planning Board will then provide a recommendation to the Town Council. The Town Council will then hold a public hearing regarding this application on September 14, 2020 via Zoom Webinar.
The Town of Stanley Board of Adjustments will meet Tuesday, August 11, 2020 following the Planning Board meeting via Zoom Webinar – Livestream on Facebook, and will hold a public hearing regarding the following:
- a) Conditional use permit for a parcel 134165 on Wilson Street with a purpose of constructing new, site-built duplexes. The proposed application meets all minimum setbacks requirements.
- b) Conditional use permit for a parcel 174315 to operate used car truck for sales and a storage unit. The Applicant owns Calloway’s Motor Company, LLC located directly across from the parcel under application, and needs to expand to allow for more room to display trucks and other vehicles for sale.
